The Recruitment industry event of the year
What a night! I couldn’t be more proud of the team here, or more thankful to all of our wonderful candidates who all made it possible for us to WIN Best Candidate Care at the Recruiter Awards, having been shortlisted as finalists for the second year running.
We were delighted to also be finalists for Best Recruitment Agency (small).
A room with over 1000 Recruiters in is always going to be an eventful occasion, and the night certainly didn’t disappoint. There were fireworks, confetti, comedy from Henning Wehn, plenty of awards, lots of alcohol (naturally), and a brilliant band to finish the evening.
Overall, it was a fantastic evening celebrating success and innovation from individuals, teams, companies, and the industry as a whole.
So why did we win?
I can tell you we were up against some stiff competition but I do know that the award is judged on “outstanding creativity, effectiveness and responsiveness, market insight, innovation and service by recruitment firms in providing exemplary care and treatment of candidates/applicants” as well as recognising agencies “who add outstanding value to their business partnerships and relationships via candidates, and not those who simply provide a solid professional service.”
From this, I believe that we won due to the two core values that we live and breathe by:
- That every Recruiter has the potential to be great; and
- Every candidate is unique.
These values mean that we have to take a tailored approach with every candidate that we decide to represent. Identifying what it is that they want/need, and exactly who the companies are that can provide the foundations for them to thrive.
We fundamentally believe that every Recruiter has the potential to be great, no matter how hard they may be finding things at the moment, and that this is heavily influenced by environment. We take our commitment to matching candidates to the environment that is best for them very seriously and invest heavily in working with our candidates to help them not only join the best firm for them but also achieve the right offer. Since inception we have set high standards when it comes to choosing companies to partner with and candidates to represent and, despite many challenges along the way, this has created our unique value. It’s why we place 94% of the candidates we agree to represent.
On the back of a record-breaking year this is really a fantastic accolade to achieve and we would like to thank all of the candidates we have worked with over the last 6 years - we wouldn’t have won without many of your kind words and testimonials.
A huge congratulations to our fellow award winners (many of whom are clients) – we couldn’t be prouder to be with you on the night.
